Flores & Komodo Tour 7 Days & 6 Nights

Day 1: Bali / Jakarta – Maumere – Ende – Moni

Welcome to Flores Island, the island of travellers, the island of a thousand memories. Arriving at Frans Seda Maumere airport, you will be warmly welcomed by representatives from Prime Flores Tour. You will drive to the Ledalero Museum, you will find many collections of ethnological objects, which form this region. Right after living from Ledalero, you will continue drive to Sikka Village to see one of the famous handicrafts named Ikat Weaving, one of the uniqueness of Florense which is made a cloth traditionally. After that, continue drive Ende, and in the afternoon trekking to Jopu village, to see locals’ activities and beautiful views. Stay overnight and dinner in Moni.

Day 2: Moni – Kelimutu – Bajawa

In the morning, you will drive to the gate of Kelimutu National Park or the first post before you trekking up to the jungle of Kelimutu National Park. You will feel the fresh air in the morning, as well as the very interesting chirping of birds. When you reach the top you will present with three lakes with different colours (black/grey, red, blue), while enjoying the sunrise and fresh breeze above the peak. This three-coloured lake is a volcanic lake resulting from an eruption hundreds of years ago which has mystical ties to the locals of Kelimutu. You will see a series of mountains from the top. After that, you will trek down drive back to Moni. After that, continue your tour to Bajawa, you will stop at Nanga Panda or at Blue Stone beach. Along the journey from Ende to Bajawa, you will be presented with a very beautiful and beautiful view of the sea. Dinner and overnight stay in Bajawa.

Day 3: Bajawa – Bena Village – Ruteng

In the morning, you immediately drive to Bena traditional village. Bena traditional village is the prototype of an ancient Ngada village. On the way there you will see the activities of local residents trying to survive from farming. Arriving in Bena, you will treat to the way of locals live with a series of very unique Bena traditional houses with mystical and legendary stories. After visiting Bena, continue driving to Aimere to see the traditional process of making arak, which is taken from palm trees. Arak became a typical Florense drink, and became the drink of brotherhood and the pinnacle of Florense civilization. Continue, drive up to Ruteng. You will stop at Rana Mese Lake, a large lake in the middle of a very dense tropical rain forest. After that, continue the trip to Ruteng, for accommodation and dinner.

Day 4: Ruteng – Denge – Wae Rebo

In the morning, you will drive to Cancar village to see the best panoramic view of Manggaraian land division system, which is a spider-web like farm. Spider-web rice field is a Manggaraian land division system that is the farm like round divided from the central to outside of the circle, so from the elevation it’s looks like a piece of cake or spider-web rice field. After visiting Cancar rice field, continue your tour to Dengge the last village before trekking up to traditional village of Wae Rebo. You will be pampered with a very beautiful and expansive natural views, stunning landscapes, local residents’ activities along the way, and also rice fields. You will also pass a road on the edge of a white sand beach. Arriving at Denge, you will begin a journey into the forest climbing the slopes of the Todo Mountain, you will enjoy the fresh air of the mountains with the chirping of birds that are very familiar to your ears. The journey of around 2 hours maximum is not in vain, when at the last kilometer you can see the view of the Wae Rebo traditional house from afar. The village nicknamed “the land above the clouds” is located at the top of a mountain, and is surrounded by hills, with a series of traditional houses that reach up to the sky, making this edition of your trip have its own value. There, you will be greeted by traditional leaders and local residents with a “welcoming ceremony”, a rite of respect and welcoming guests which is carried out for every new person who comes there. Dinner and stay overnight at traditional house at Wae Rebo village.

Day 5: Wae Rebo – Denge – Labuan Bajo

In the morning when the sun rises you will be awakened by a natural alarm, namely “cock crowing” a sign that morning has arrived. While enjoying coffee, you will enjoy the village atmosphere which really cures your fatigue for years, it feels like Wae Rebo is the cure for everything. While the sun rises and the birds sing, and the cock crows, it is an extraordinary pleasure for you. After that, trek back to Dengge to get a car, and continue to Labuan Bajo. You will pass the coast and view the largest rice field in Flores called “Sawah Lembor”. You will enjoy the natural views of Flores, the winding journey, up and down mountains, is quite an adrenaline challenge. Arriving in Labuan Bajo, drive straight to the hotel to check in. After that you will drive to the hill of Sylvia to enjoy views of the city of Labuan Bajo and views of a series of islands from the top hill of Sylvia, and drive to the hotel for overnight.

Day 6: Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo Island – Taka Makasar – Manta Point – Kanawa Island

In the morning, you will drive to the harbour to get to the Komodo National Park. The first place you will visit is Padar Island, there you will do trekking activities to see the amazing panorama beyond the peak of Padar Island. You will be presented with views of several white and pink sand beaches back-to-back. Then You will continue sailing to Pink Beach, the activities you do there are swimming at the beach to see the beauty of the sea with coral reefs and various types of fish and also relaxing on the beach. After leaving the pink beach, you will sail further to Komodo Island, the natural habitat of the Komodo dragons varianus Komodo desist or Komdo dragons. The activity you will do is trekking through the forest to see Komodo dragons and other wildlife such as deer, monkeys, buffalo, horses, black pigs, and various types of birds and endemic trees. After spending time in Komodo Island, you continue sailing to Taka Makasar, one of the most beautiful beaches in Komodo National Park, where a white sand beach appears in the middle of the sea. The activities you can do there are swimming to see the marine park. After that, continue to Manta Point, there you will snorkel and swim to see flocks of stingrays enjoying marine life, and various types of fish and coral reefs. After seeing the stingrays, you will sail to Kanawa Island. There you will swim and relax on the beach while enjoying the sunset. After that, you will sail back to Labuan Bajo for accommodation.

Day 7: Labuan Bajo – Bali / Jakarta

In the morning, you will drive to one of the shopping places for souvenirs. After that, immediately transfer out to Komodo airport for flight back to Bali/Jakarta/similar.
