Komodo Tour 5 days & 4 nights
Day 1: Jakarta/Bali – Labuan Bajo – Surroundings
Welcome to Flores Island, the island of travellers, the island of a thousand experiences. Arriving in Komodo Labuan Bajo airport, you will pick up by our professional guide. You will immediately transfer to one of the famous tourist attractions in the city called Mirror Cave. Mirror Rock is one of the tourist attractions that offers beautiful views of the bamboo forest, and the most unique thing is the large giant rock which has a passageway to the heart of the rock and has a hole at the top of the rock so that sun can enter the cave. In the Mirror cave, you will enjoy the views of the bamboo forest, and also wild monkeys. In the cave you will see the appearance of a mirror in the stone wall, this happens because of the stone. Mirrors contain crystal colour so that the reflection of sunlight produces a mirror reflection. After visiting the mirror stone, you will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Then continue driving to the hotel for check-in. And you drive to the northern-tip of Labuan Bajo to Rangko Cave, Rangko cave is famous for its forest views and cave impressions located on the beach. The most interesting thing is that in the cave there are stalactites and stalagmites as well as crystal-coloured stone walls, there is also a natural pool that holds clear and clean water. You will do swimming activities while enjoying the stunning view of the cave. After that, drive back to Labuan Bajo, and trekking in Sylvia Hill-top view to enjoy beautiful views of the sequences of islands of Komodo National Park and the city of Labuan Bajo from the top of Sylvia. Right after living from Sylvia hill-top, drive back for dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Padar Island – Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Taka-Makasar – Manta Point – Kanawa Island
In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will pick up by your guide and transfer to the harbour for a trip through Komodo National Park. You will head to Padar Island, your first destination, which is very famous for its beautiful views. On Padar Island, you will do medium trekking to the top of Padar for 30 minutes. From the elevation of Padar Island, you will enjoy views of three straits and 4 white sand beaches that line the island as well as views of small islands, which really hypnotize your eyes. Right after leaving from Padar Island, you will head to Komodo Island, where the original Komodo dragon variant lives. There you will trek into the forest and savannah hills to see the natural habitat of wild Komodo dragons, as well as other wild animals such as deer, buffalo, cows, horses, monkeys and other wild animals that form the food chain ecosystem on Komodo Island. Right after living from Komodo Island, you will proceed to Pink Beach, a beach which is famous for its pink or red sand and water. There you will do snorkelling activities to enjoy views of the marine park such as coral reefs and fish, as well as relaxing on the beach. After that, sailing to Taka-Makasar, there you will see views of white sand extending in the middle of the ocean. The activity you can do there apart from relaxing on the beach is snorkelling to see the underwater park. After that, head to Manta Point, which is most famous for Manta Rey. There you will do snorkelling activities, swim with Manta Rey and various types of fish, and you can see very unique coral reefs. After that, sail to Kanawa Island, which is very famous for its thousands of types of coral reefs. In Kanawa Island, you will enjoy extraordinary views of the marine park, as well as various types of fish swimming with you, you can also relax on the beach. After that heading back to Labuan Bajo for dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Labuan Bajo – Dengge – Wae Rebo
In the morning after breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to explore Flores Island, you will make a long journey from Labuan Bajo to Denge-Wae Rebo. Throughout the journey you will be presented with views of the Flores tropical rainforest, mountains, savannah, and the topography of the Flores area, making your trip adrenaline-challenging because you will encounter ups and downs of mountains and sharp turns along the way/Flores highway. You will enjoy the largest expanse of rice fields in Flores called “Sawah Lembor”. A tour along the coast will hypnotize your eyes with the beauty of the island of Flores. Arriving at Denge village, you will trek into the dense forest, there are many unique things that you will encounter along the trekking route which is around 4 km from Denge village. Arriving at the Wae Rebo traditional village, you will be presented with an extraordinary view. A village located at the top of a mountain in the middle of a wilderness surrounded by mountains. You will be welcomed by both customs with a local welcoming ceremony called “Kapu cai/Tiba Meka”. After that you will relax and joke around and share with local community, this is a moment/opportunity for you to become a villager, and how to be close and live with locals (Florence). Taking photos is certainly something you need when you step there. There is no signal access there, so you completely return to nature. You will stay overnight and have dinner at traditional Wae Rebo.
Day 4: Wae Rebo – Dengge – Labuan Bajo
In the morning when the sun-rise time you will be awakened by a natural alarm, namely “cock crowing” a sign that morning has arrived. While enjoying coffee, you will enjoy the fresh air and village atmosphere which really cures your fatigue for years, it feels like Wae Rebo is the cure for everything. While the sun rises and the birds sing, and the chickens crow, it is an extraordinary pleasure for you. After that you will be served breakfast, then trek back to Dengge to get a car, and continue to Labuan Bajo. You will pass the coast and view the largest rice field in Flores called “Sawah Lembor”. You will enjoy the natural views of Flores, the winding journey, up and down mountains, is quite an adrenaline challenge. Arriving in Labuan Bajo, drive straight to the hotel to check in. After that you will drive to the restaurant for dinner. And drive to the hotel for overnight
Day 5: Labuan Bajo – Flight Back
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Golo Mori, one of the most amazing viewpoints at the southwestern tip of Labuan Bajo. There you will enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and savannah hills. After that continue to Komodo Airport. The tour is over.
