TODO MANGGARAIAN RULER

Todo is the most popular traditional village in Manggarai, located in the southwest of Ruteng. Todo is very significant to all Manggaraian since it was the place of the Manggaraian ruler (Adak) before and during the colonialist period. Nowadays, there are a few remains of the time of the former ruler (Adak Todo) such as Traditional House, Canons, Gendang loke ngerang (a drum made of a woman’s stomach skin), compang (a kind of altar for celebreting the ritual ceremonies of the village), Like (stone paving), round the village and other remains that can be seen in the village.
